Mr Guts makes me laugh sometimes. One day he was standing on the bird bath in the pouring rain. Had to get this photo. What you might call a bad hair day. Even seagulls have them.

Here's a cute guillemot I met on Brora back shore one day. Birds can be right posers.

The seagull has landed. Mr Guts is back. I wonder what adventures he'll have this year?

Not quite as dramatic as your crashing waves today Liz, but I did meet this chap today. I've waited 10 years for a decent piccie of a pheasant, and now I have one. Photography can quite take your breath away sometimes.

Wonderful. The colours are quite dramatic though, really stand out in that shot. Nice one! :love2:

Here's Mr Pigeon sitting in his tree, watching Brora life. He doesn't like Mr Guts.

Shag down Brora back shore this afternoon. Lovely down there, but still cold.

A few more recent bird photos. The first one is shags being caught out by a wave they didn't see coming. The second one is a pheasant, and the third one is a shag I met last week.

Eagle owl. This fella posed for me at Dunrobin Castle. I'll have to get back there this year. I've heard they have two new golden eagles.

I've a blackcap visiting my back garden. Never seen one before. Don't know much about them, other than that they're warblers.
